Video Of An Eerie Building In Japan With A Never-Ending Hole Found On Google Maps

The internet was thrown off its game by a video depicting an abandoned structure with an endless hole in the floor. The video clip shows an unsettling Japanese structure hiding the “Never-ending Hole” on Google Maps.

Google Maps isn’t just useful for finding places and navigating yourself around; it’s also a wellspring of odd and unique content. People occasionally come across something bizarre that sparks discussion.

In 2022, a video of an abandoned structure with a never-ending hole in the floor started gaining widespread attention.

The video shows a person searching for coordinates on Google Maps in Japan, which appears to be inside an office building near the now-defunct Nara Dreamland’s Water Park. There is no floor within the eerie building but rather a large pit that sinks deep into the ground like a never-ending hole. A robot-like figure is vaguely seen standing next to the hole at the end of the video.

Astonishment and disbelief engulfed the internet as this spooky find was made public.

A text that says- “Nah wtf they hiding in Japan” is seen constantly on screen throughout the video. More than 19 million people have seen the video since it was posted on TikTok, and over 3.4 million people have liked it.

One commenter praised the videographer for risking his life to go inside.

Another user commented, “So the backrooms are in Japan.”

Bro, this is merely the new season of the Squid Game,” wrote a third user.

The footage of a huge snake’s skeleton discovered in France also went viral on social media.

Strange things have also been discovered on Google Maps before. An account called @googlemapsfun on the TikTok app posts videos of stuff people has discovered while snooping about on Google Maps. One such video shows a large, snake-like object found off the coast of France.

The account states, “Somewhere in France, we can see something giant you can only see with satellites, hidden on Google Earth. Users believe this to be a giant snake. It’s about 30 meters long and bigger than any snake caught before.”

The snake-like structure is actually the metallic sculpture called Le Serpent d’Ocean.

According to the story, some speculated that the snake skeleton might belong to an extinct genus of gigantic snakes called Titanoboa. The video has been seen over 2 million times on TikTok, and Google Maps clearly shows a snake-like entity. However, this isn’t the case. In reality, the “snake skeleton” is a massive, metallic sculpture known as Le Serpent d’Ocean, according to an investigation conducted by Snopes.
